Theme: Of all the features that our experience presents when we reflect upon it, none is more familiar than the contrast between thinking and feeling. There is a special kind of simplicity about feeling, in contrast with what may be called bipolarity of thought. The distinctions between right and wrong, good and bad, true ore false are special cases of this bipolarity; it is plain that none of them could arise with the exception of in the experience of a thinking being.
